Duke of
Edinburgh Residential Opportunities 2016
Basti Ram is a UK registered charity (1137644) that teaches
skills to disadvantaged communities in the UK and India so that they can build
their own brighter future. In India we
run projects in day nurseries and primary schools with children from rural
tribal communities who are the first in that area to attend formal education.
We offer 14-day DofE Gold Residential excursions that
give participants the opportunity to immerse themselves in a new culture, meet
other like-minded people from around the world and most of all give something
invaluable to those who are less fortunate – their time and their skills.
