Yoga

The girls have had the opportunity to see the sun rise in Rajasthan every morning this past week through participating in our yoga class on the roof top of the volunteer house.
Kerry: "Although we have to get up at 6.30 in the morning, yoga is such a relaxing experience with the sights and sounds of Rajasthan at that time, which isn't typical here as we usually hear birds and horns constantly! So seeing the city at peace and silence adds to the calming feeling that yoga provides you with"
 Alex in her yoga position!
Alex: "I really enjoy yoga on the rooftop with the gorgeous hills in the distance. However the peace is always broken by one of us falling over of course! At least we're trying...!"
Lucy: "We are doing yoga at 6.30am every morning this week on the roof of the volunteer house. It is always fairly quiet at this time, making it calming while we do the poses. My favourite so far is the sun salutation, which is a series of twelve moves. Our yoga teacher says some people do it 108 times in one hour!"
Emma: "Yoga is getting more difficult day by day. But despite the early morning and difficult positions we are still loving it!"
